Tafadzwa Nyikadzino

An accident which took place at Hunyani Bridge along Seke Road earlier today has led to the death of 17 people. The horrific incident took place after a 30 tonne haulage truck collided with a commuter omnibus.

Reports indicate that three people who were seriously injured were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. Witnesses who saw the tragic incident said the collision happened after the haulage truck swerved into the opposite lane and collided head on with an oncoming commuter omnibus (Kombi).

The kombi was dragged and crushed by the truck, leading to the catastrophic death of passengers. ZRP is yet to comment on the incident. But rescue efforts were by made by the time of publishing .
