Dynamos Football Club is staring at a daunting task as they battle to avoid relegation from the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

With 10 matchdays remaining, the Glamour Boys need to win at least seven of their last 10 assignments while praying for unfavorable results from other teams in the red zone.

According to Dynamos midfielder Temptation Chiwunga, the team is aware of what it takes to secure their place in the PSL next season.

“We haven’t been at our best due to many reasons but where we are at the moment requires everyone to be at his best,” Chiwunga said.

The team’s upcoming match against Kwekwe United at Ascot Stadium on Sunday is seen as a crucial test.

A win would be a significant boost to their survival hopes, but anything less might dash their chances.

“We are down but not out because everyone knows what we have to do to secure our place in the PSL next season,” Chiwunga added.

Dynamos’ current form has been a major concern, with the team managing only seven goals in their last 24 games.

Two of those goals came from penalties, highlighting the team’s struggles in open play. Despite this, Chiwunga remains optimistic about the team’s chances.

“Our coaches have been doing the best they can in working with our mental aspect of the game and I also want to urge our fans to keep up the support because that is all we need in our last fixtures,” he said.

The relegation battle is intense, with nine other teams joining Dynamos in the fight for survival.

ZPC Kariba, Highlanders, CAPS United, Bikita Minerals, Green Fuel, Chicken Inn, Manica Diamonds, Triangle, and Yadah are all in danger of losing their PSL slots.

Dynamos’ fixtures in the remaining 10 matchdays are tough, with matches against Scotland, CAPS United, Ngezi Platinum Stars, Highlanders, and FC Platinum.

The team will need to win as many matches as possible and hope that other teams slip up if they are to survive the drop.

As the battle to avoid relegation reaches its climax, Dynamos will need to summon all their strength and determination to stay in the top flight.
