South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is slated to officially open the 115th Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) as a guest of honour.

This move comes as a mandate to strengthen the ties between the two Southern African neighbors.

The Zimbabwe’s Foreign Affairs and International Trade Secretary, Albert Chimbindi has confirmed Ramaposa’s visit to Zimbabwe.

“Yes, President Ramaphosa will officially open this year’s agricultural show. More details will be shared in the days to come.”

The ZAS, which runs from August 25 to 30, is a major highlight on Zimbabwe’s national calendar, serving as a key platform for showcasing the country’s agricultural prowess and fostering business engagement within the sector.

This year’s event has attracted 505 exhibitors, with 12 international participants from countries including Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, India, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zambia.
