Controversial businessman, Wicknell Chivayo has once again made headlines with another round of extravagant gifting, this time bestowing a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS 600 Maybach, valued at $450,000, and an additional $100,000 in cash upon self-proclaimed prophet Walter Magaya.

The gesture, announced by Chivayo on social media, also included a new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series VXR and $50,000 for Magaya’s wife.

Chivayo stated that the gifts were a form of reward for Magaya’s contributions to Zimbabwean football development, specifically citing the construction of The Heart Stadium in Harare and The Chahwanda Stadium in Kwekwe.

Magaya, who owns the top-flight football club Yadah FC, has heavily invested in sports infrastructure, a move Chivayo praised as a commitment to uplifting local talent and promoting sports.

The businessman, who has a history of making large-scale donations to public figures and political officials, described Magaya as a consistent voice both within the church and in the society, using his God-given gift to empower the youth and to promote sport as a tool for upliftment.

Chivhayo has also announced that the gift is an honor to Magaya’s contribution to the body of Christ.

“In addition please also receive 100,000 US dollars in cash as my small token of appreciation for the work of the church and to expand your various philanthropic initiatives.
