Zvishavane based Premier Soccer League club, FC Platinum has announced a restructuring of its top leadership, confirming the stepping down of Chairman Dumisani Sisale and the immediate appointment of long-serving executive Benson Virimai as his successor.

The change in the club’s top administrative post marks the latest development in a series of major changes, which follows the recent departure of long-serving coach Norman Mapeza and the subsequent hiring of Joel Luphahla.

FC Platinum confirmed Sisale’s departure in a statement, noting his two years of distinguished service in his latest term.

Sisale’s previous tenure was particularly noteworthy, coinciding with the club’s promotion to the Premier Soccer League more than a decade ago.

The club indicated that he will remain involved in an advisory role.Virimai ascends to the top position after more than a decade of dedicated service to the club as both the Premier Soccer League Governor and Secretary-General.

“The club is also pleased to confirm the appointment of Mr. Benson Virimai as the new Chairman,” the club stated. “With over a decade of service, he brings extensive experience and strategic leadership to guide the club into its next phase of growth.” the statement added.

This appointment is the third major change at the platinum miners in a short period after legendary coach Norman Mapeza stepped down in November and was shortly replaced by former Warriors star Joel Luphahla.

The club also recently appointed a new General Manager.

“This transition complements our recent appointments of a new Head Coach and General Manager as we strengthen our organisational direction,” the statement added.
