Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Scottland FC have announced a major restructuring of their executive leadership, appointing Mr. Everson Chatambudza as the new club Chairman.

The appointment, announced via an official club statement, marks a strategic transition for the Mabvuku-based “Mabviravira” side.

Chatambudza takes over the reins from Mr. Tonderai Sakupwanya, who led the club through its meteoric rise from the Northern Region Soccer League to the pinnacle of Zimbabwean football in 2025.

Joining the new leadership tier is Mr. Tawanda Chidzidzi, who has been named Vice Chairman.

The move comes as the club seeks to professionalize its operations and solidify its status as a powerhouse in domestic and continental football.

In a move designed to retain institutional memory while injecting fresh executive energy, the club confirmed that outgoing Chairman Tonderai Sakupwanya and Vice Chairman Musa Gwasira will not be leaving the fold but they both will transition to the club’s Board of Directors.

“Their experience and vision will continue to guide the long-term growth of the club,” the statement read, emphasizing that the duo’s strategic oversight remains vital to the club’s ambitious infrastructure projects.

The club expressed its gratitude to the outgoing leadership for their outstanding service and commitment during the foundational years of the franchise.
