THE Zimbabwe Sables survived a late fightback from Namibia to secure a thrilling 36-33 victory in an international test match at the National Sports Stadium in Harare on Saturday.
The Sables led 26-14 at half-time in a pulsating encounter that marked the return of international rugby to the venue for the first time since 2018.
The win is another confidence boost as Zimbabwe prepare for their return to the Rugby World Cup in Australia next year, their first appearance since 1991.
It also extends their recent dominance over Namibia, following their 30-28 victory in the 2025 Rugby Africa Cup final.
