The Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) Netball Team has secured a place in the final of the 2025 SADC Corrections, Prisons and Penitentiary Services Sports and Cultural Games, setting up a highly anticipated showdown with Namibia.

The ZPCS Netball Queens, as they are known, triumphed over Eswatini’s side with a final score of 41-29 in a decisive semi-final match.

The semi-final win for Zimbabwe came after a second semi-final match, where Namibia narrowly defeated Zambia 28-25.

The championship match gives a chance for redemption for the ZPCS Netball Team, who suffered a 19-31 loss to Namibia in the round-robin stage of the competition.
