Two men are in police custody for fatally stabbing a 40-year-old woman at a Redcliff bar over the weekend after she rejected their sexual advances.

The victim, Rosemary Diana, was allegedly murdered after she rejected romantic advances from one of the suspects.

The suspects, Thembinkosi Ndlovu, 22, and Nkosinomusa Moyo, 24, are facing murder charges in connection with the incident, which took place at a bar at Mutegude Shops.

According to a police statement, the altercation began when Moyo’s romantic advances toward Diana were rejected.

Ndlovu is accused of joining the attack, repeatedly striking Diana with a cooking stick.

Moyo allegedly stabbed the victim on the back with a knife which led to her from injuries.
