The eagerly awaited ZIMSEC Ordinary Level examination results for 2025 will be made public this Friday at midday, the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Professor Torerayi Moyo, has officially announced.

The results will mark the culmination of months of anticipation for thousands of students across the nation who sat for the critical national exams.

The announcement sets the stage for a significant moment in the country’s educational calendar, determining the academic and vocational pathways for a generation of learners.

Professor Moyo expressed his satisfaction with the process, extending praise to the national examinations body.

“I am pleased to inform the nation that the 2025 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC), Ordinary Level Examination Results will be officially released tomorrow at 12 noon,” the Minister declared.

He further elaborated on the broader significance of the timely release, framing it as an indicator of systemic strength and reliability.

“This marks a significant milestone in our academic calendar, and I wish to commend ZIMSEC for its professionalism, transparency, and commitment to upholding the integrity of our national examinations system,” Professor Moyo stated.

Highlighting the government’s perspective on educational reforms and administrative efficiency, the Minister added, “The timely release of results is a testament to the strides we continue to make in strengthening our Education sector.”

His comments underscore an ongoing narrative of improvement and standardization within Zimbabwe’s primary and secondary education framework.

The release mechanism for the results is expected to follow established protocols.

Typically, heads of examination centres collect the results from ZIMSEC regional offices before distributing them to candidates.

Concurrently, individual candidates can access their results online via the ZIMSEC portal using their unique examination details, a process that has streamlined access in recent years.

Education analysts anticipate that the performance trends in key subjects such as Mathematics, English, and the Sciences will be closely scrutinized, as they are often seen as barometers of the sector’s health.

The results also come at a time of continued focus on curriculum implementation and the integration of information and communication technology in learning.

Stakeholders, including school authorities and career guidance counsellors, are now preparing to support students in interpreting their results and making informed decisions about Advanced Level studies, vocational training, or other career trajectories.

The midday release on Friday is poised to trigger a flurry of activity in schools and homes nationwide as students finally receive the outcomes of their hard work and dedication.
