Zimbabwe’s largest Mobile Money Operator, Ecocash has increased its weekly transactional limit to Zwl$35,000, State of the Nation has learnt.

The move comes as a relief to users who were struggling to use the platform for bigger transactions under the previous limit which was set at ZwL$20,000 per week.

A person can use up this limit in one or more days in a week. To prevent black market traders from abusing this development, the company has put a transactional limit of Zwl$5 000 per transaction.
