Nyaradzo Mortuaries in Harare are reported to have been filled to the brim by people who died with Covid 19, State of the Nation has learnt.

Highly placed sources told this publication that the country’s bigest funeral parlor nolonger has space to take new bodies at its Mortuaries in the Capital City.

According to internal sources, the parlor has resorted to use a mortuary at Chikurubi Maximum Prison which has the capacity of containing 200 bodies to try and accommodate bodies that a coming at the parlor.

According to the latest Covid 19 statistics, Zimbabwe recorded 3110 new infections and 58 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Harare stands as one of the country’s Hotspot as it battles the new Delta varient which is more lethal. More to follow….
