President Emmerson Mnangagwa left the country yesterday to attend the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York where he will join other world leaders for the high level meetings.
The event is expected to host over 150 heads of states from all over the world.
The general debate will be centred on the theme: ‘Rebuilding Trust and Re-igniting Global Solidarity: “Accelerating Action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals Towards Peace, Prosperity, Progress and Sustainability for All”.
Other issues like climate change and the Russia – Ukraine war will also take centre stage on the deliberations.
