The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has announced that 107 suspects were arrested across the country for participating in the 31 March protest that was called for Blessed Geza.
The update comes after initial reports indicated that 95 people were arrested at Robert Gabriel Mugabe Square in Harare.
According to the ZRP, the situation in the country is peaceful, although they have recorded a few reports of violence and malicious damage to property.
In a statement, ZRP said they will continue to deploy police officers to maintain peace in the country.
“The law will certainly take its course on unruly elements who commit criminal acts under the guise of demonstrations,” the statement reads.
