Award‑winning Zimbabwean singer Nisha T has promised a “powerful and warm” performance at the upcoming Nubian Notes Concert, the all‑female musical extravaganza set for 8 November 2025 at the Harare International Convention Centre (HICC).
Gateway Stream Media and partner ZAR Events announced that Nisha T, known for her soaring voice and authentic storytelling, will bring a blend of emotion, energy and purpose to the event.
“Being part of an all‑female show like Nubian Notes is a celebration of women’s strength and creativity,” Nisha T said.
She described the concert as a reminder of the power women hold when they gather in a space where art can be expressed freely and where they uplift one another.
“It’s a reminder of the power we hold as women when we come together in a space where I can express my art freely while uplifting others who share the same passion,” she added.
The artist explained that her set will focus on staying true to oneself.
“My performance is inspired by staying true to yourself, no matter what the world expects of me,” Nisha T shared. *
She wants the audience to feel empowered, seen, and reminded that their own voice matters.

Nisha T also emphasized the broader shift for women in the creative industry.
“We are no longer waiting for permission to take up space,” she declared.
She believes female artists are reshaping the sector by creating their own opportunities and breaking barriers across all genres, a change she calls “powerful” and “only the beginning.”
“We are telling our own stories, building our own platforms, and breaking barriers across all genres. The change is powerful and for us it is only the beginning,” she added.
Looking ahead to the night, Nisha T teased a special moment.
“Fans should expect energy, emotion, and authenticity,” she said.
She has prepared a memorable, unity‑focused performance that reflects her artistic journey.
“I have prepared something special that reflects my journey as an artist. It is going to be a memorable experience that celebrates music, womanhood, and unity.”
She hinted at an unexpected surprise, “Let’s just say there is a special moment that fans should look out for during my performance and I am really excited to share something unexpected that will bring everyone together in a beautiful way. Come tinakidzwe, Gender iiii Fimero!”
Gateway Stream Media manager Elton Kurima reinforced the event’s mission.
“At Gateway Stream Media, we believe in using music as a tool for empowerment and inclusion,” Kurima said.
He called Nubian Notes a tribute to women who are redefining the creative landscape and a platform where female voices take centre stage, strong and unapologetic.
“The Nubian Notes Concert is a powerful celebration of women’s artistry and influence. It’s a platform where female voices take centre stage, strong, unapologetic, and inspiring.”
The concert, themed “Mambokadzi: The Rise of Her Sound,” will also feature Tamy Moyo, Feli Nandi, Gemma Griffiths and Shashl.
Tickets are on sale at Rainbow Towers Hotel, New Ambassador Hotel and all MedOrange Pharmacies in Harare: $15 standard, $20 VIP.
An “Ultimate Squad Deal” offers five tickets for $50 until 3 November.
No tickets will be sold at the gate.
Organisers stress that Nubian Notes is more than a concert it’s a movement celebrating sisterhood, empowerment and Zimbabwean cultural pride.
“We look forward to welcoming fans and the media to this remarkable celebration of sound and sisterhood,” Kurima added.
