Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries leader Walter Magaya has been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today, shortly after appearing in court for two separate legal battles.

The arrest took place in the parking lot of the Harare Magistrate’s Court as Magaya and his legal team were preparing to depart.

Earlier in the day, Magaya’s ongoing rape trial was deferred to Tuesday, where a ruling is expected to determine whether the matter will proceed to trial or face further postponement.

Simultaneously, his fraud case was pushed back to March 27, pending an indictment by the High Court.
