Thousands of voters are stranded in Warren Park D and Cold comfort as voting is yet to commence in the area.

Voting is stalled by the absence of municipal ballot papers at all poling stations.

In an interview with State of the Nation news, a citizen identified as Tawanda said he has spent the whole day waiting to vote.

“I came here in the morning at 7am but i am yet to vote. I have been told that there are no ballot papers for municipal candidates so voting cannot be conducted until they arrive. Its now 6pm but there are no signs of voting,” he said.

Efforts to get a comment from the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) have been fruitless as they have not been answering their phones.
