United States Former Republican candidate, Nikki Haley has withdrawn from the presidential race for her party’s nomination.
The decision follows her poor performance in the Republican Super Tuesday contests, where she only managed to win in a single state and was defeated by Donald Trump who won the delegates in 14 of the 15 contests.
In her official announcement, Haley has urged Trump to win the support of Republicans and Independents who had previously backed her own campaign.
Haley’s decision leaves Donald Trump as the only presidential nominee to contest against President Joe Biden
