ZAI, Diaspora Insurance agree on partnership to boost financial security

The Zimbabwe Accountants International (ZAI) has established a strategic partnership with UK-based risk solutions firm, Diaspora Insurance which helps bring financial security to more than a thousand accounting professionals worldwide.

Established in 2022, ZAI brings together more 1,200 members from across various regions, including South Africa, Dubai, Australia, Canada, USA and the UK.

The organisation offers “an inclusive space for Zimbabwean accountants to learn from one another, stay updated on industry trends, and access global opportunities in the accounting field”.

Meanwhile the partnership with Diaspora Insurance, gives ZAI members access to bespoke funeral insurance products, ensuring they have immediate access to financial relief in times of bereavement instead of having to borrow or beg for assistance from family and friends.

“The partnership between ZAI and Diaspora Insurance is significant as it provides members with access to tailored insurance solutions, ensuring financial security for families abroad,” said ZAI president Nico Chitsa.

“This collaboration strengthens the support network for the diaspora, addressing key needs like life cover and repatriation.”
