Multi-Grammy Award-winning American rapper Rick Ross is scheduled to return to Zimbabwe on February 28, 2026, to headline a high-profile celebration for Mabvuku Member of Parliament and prominent businessman Scott Sakupwanya.

The performance, which coincides with Sakupwanya’s 47th birthday, was confirmed by the rapper, born William Leonard Roberts II, via a video he shared on his Instagram account.

“Zimbabwe, I just got word I’m coming out rocking with my homie Scott,” Ross stated in the video.

“The birthday bash is going to be next level, February 28th. It’s gonna be historic, we making history. It’s all about big moves, and my homie Scott makes big moves. Yeah, I can’t wait.”

This marks the second time Sakupwanya has enlisted the “Hustlin'” hitmaker for an event in the capital.

In November 2022, Ross performed at a sold-out Harare International Conference Center (HICC) in a show organized by ROAR Entertainment.

The event, which reportedly cost approximately US$200,000 to stage, was a major media highlight and solidified Sakupwanya’s reputation for hosting elite international talent.

Sakupwanya, a Zanu PF lawmaker known for his vast interests in the gold mining sector, has become synonymous with lavish international bookings.

Beyond his previous engagement with Rick Ross, Sakupwanya made headlines in 2023 when he brought American boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. to Zimbabwe as part of a high-profile Motherland Tour.

Organizers of the upcoming February event are promising a production that exceeds previous efforts.
