THE Confederation of African Football (Caf) is set to decide on continental competitions on Tuesday when the executive committee meets via video conference.

The Young Mighty Warriors were scheduled to take on Ethiopia in Fifa World Cup Under-20 qualifiers, while the Fifa Women 2020 World Cup and Total Women Afcon 2020 qualifiers were also iced.

Warriors coach, Zdravko “Loga” Logarusic is yet to see action with the national side after the Afcon qualifier against Algeria was postponed as they were making preparations for the match.

Caf is also set to discuss additional financial support to member associations in response to the Covid-19 crisis, with the continental body set to advance funds to assist nations deal with the pandemic. Fifa announced Friday they had approved a universal solidarity grant of US$1 million for all member associations with an additional grant of US$500 000 will be allocated specifically to women’s football.
