Just In: Mutodi’s hearing date set

The date of under fire Zanu PF member, Dr Energy Mutodi’s hearing has been set to 13 June, State of the Nation can exclusively reveal.


Highly placed sources in the party told this publication that Mutodi faces three main charges which are; assaulting a District Chairperson called Patrick Rwafa, Insulting senior party members, discussing issues in the public and social media and putting the name of the Party into disrepute as stipulated in Article 3 sub section 21.5. of the party’s constitution.


The place and venue of the hearing will be announced soon. Dr Mutodi was recently fired from his position as Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services. He was also suspended from his position as a provincial member in the ruling party.
