Former ZTA CEO Karikoga Kaseke dies

The former Chief Executive Officer of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA), Karikoga Kaseke has died.

The news was confirmed by his wife, Mrs Irene Kaseke who said her husband died at a local hospital in Harare after his health deteriorated.

Kaseke retired six years ago after he had suffered from a stroke. He faced challenges, but remained committed to his work in promoting tourism and showcasing Zimbabwe as a desirable tourist destination.

Sister to the deceased, Mrs Hazvinei Kaseke-Nyamupinga, expressed grief over the loss of her brother and protector.

Mourners have gathered at number 38 Boscobel Drive West, Highlands in Harare to pay their last respects and offer condolences to the bereaved family.
