A local bus plying the Harare – Chirundu road caught fire which engulfed it to Ashes yesterday according to the Zimbabwe Republic Police.  The bus was carrying 20 passengers who survived without without casualties.

In a statement,  ZRP said a Timboon bus was burnt at the 180-kilometer peg after the driver noticed smoke emerging from the engine through the gear lever, leaving the bus in ruins.

The bus was en-route to Magunje with a total of 20 passengers on board.ZRP has revealed that further investigations are currently underway.
