Anymore Zvitsva, the man accused of a gruesome killing spree across Mashonaland Central, appeared at the Harare Magistrates’ Court today for a routine remand hearing.

The high-profile suspect, linked to the murders of 19 people, arrived in a state of physical frailty.

Unable to walk, Zvitsva had to be carried into the courtroom by a fellow inmate.

His mobility remains severely impaired due to a gunshot wound sustained to his leg during a confrontation with law enforcement agents while attempting to evade capture earlier this month.

Zvitsva is the primary suspect in a series of killings that have terrorized the Guruve district and surrounding areas in Mashonaland Central.

Following a weeks-long manhunt, authorities successfully apprehended Zvitsva on January 3.

The police continues to process evidence as they link Zvitsva to the 19 reported fatalities.
