Covid 19 Cases Rise to 28

The number of people infected with Covid 19 in the country has risen to 28 after three new cases were recorded yesterday, the Ministry of Health and Child Care has revealed.


In a statement released yesterday, the Ministry of Health and Child Care said the results from the NMLR revealed that three people were infected while 65 samples are still pending.


The statement reads: “As of 21 April 2020, from the 93 PCR results received from NMLR, 3 were positive for COVID-19. Results for 65 samples are still pending.”


The statement also depicts that all PRC testing done in Bulawayo were negative.


It read: “All the PRC tests done in Bulawayo today were negative for COVID-19.”
