Breaking: Government Hikes Fuel Duty Prices

The government has set new duty prices for fuel through the Statutory Instrument 100 of 2020, Customs and Excise (Tarrif) (Amendment) which will be put to effect tomorrow.


The new prices will see the price of Leaded and Unleaded petrol rising to Z$8, 3700 per litre from Z$7, 2787 while Diesel, and kerosene will rise to Z$7, 5660 from Z$5, 8197. Below is the full statement by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development
