The Access Forex remittance platform is providing fast and hustle free services to Zimbabweans who are using it to send and receive money from their loved ones in the diaspora, and making it easy for people to access their money without queuing for it.
The platform, which was launched this year has made huge strides which have seen it providing services to countries like the United Kingdom and South Africa, and opening 13 cash receiving points across the country.
While queues have become a common thing in almost every banking institution and at other remittance platforms, people can quickly collect their money from Access Forex without having to stand in long and winding queues.
Customers are also guaranteed to receive their money in foreign currency at any time as it will be available all the time.
Access Forex Director George Chirwa told State of the Nation that Access Forex is licensed by the South African Reserve Bank and the Financial Conduct Authority in the United Kingdom for remittances into Zimbabwe from S.A and the UK, making it a legitimate platform which people in the aforementioned countries can use to send money to their loved ones in Zimbabwe.
“If you are a Zimbabwean living in the U.K or S.A, you can register on our website and do an EFT and your beneficiary will receive a pin on their mobile phone. With a pin together with a Zimbabwean ID / Valid passport, people can collect their funds in USD or Rands at our registered agents”.
“Sender registration from UK and SA can be done online. For SA you need a Zimbabwe passport, asylum document or Valid SA ID or permit. For UK you need either a copy of your Driver’s license or a valid passport, resident card plus a utility bill which is not more than 3 month old. In SA you can also register in any African Basket branch in Gauteng” he said.
Chirwa also said the platform works in conjunction with 4 receiving agents, 3 which are in Zimbabwe and one which is South Africa to provide its services.
“We have 4 receiving agents, 3 which are in Zimbabwe namely Access Finance, MyCash and Quest Financial Services. These have 13 receiving points across the country areas like Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Vic Falls, Gwanda, Plumtree, Masvingo and Chitungwiza. The other one is in South Africa which is Africa Basket”, he said.
He encouraged Zimbabweans in the Diaspora to use Access Forex to send money to their loved ones in Zimbabwe as it is safe, reliable and hustle free.
