Zimbabwean Tinotenda Kadewere said that they will continue to work to bring themselves back into the Champions League despite a 2-1 loss to  Montpellier away on Tuesday night.

In an interview with Olympique Lyon TV after the match, Tino said he is still optimistic of a favourable finish in Ligue 1.
“I’m disappointed with this match. It was my first start with the team”, he said.

He blamed complacency on the team’s loss.”We were too relaxed in the way we played and we left too many options for Montpellier”, he revealed.

He commended his team mates for being united and the substitutes for helping a lot.”Unfortunately the opposing goalkeeper had a good game”, he added.

He remained optimistic that Lyon can qualify for the Champions League.”There are still a lot of games to be played and nothing is decided yet”, he told OL TV.
Tino was substituted after 55 minutes for Delay .

Following this defeat, Lyon are on the 11th position having amassed four points from three games whilst Montpellier are in the fifth place with six points.
