Legendary cricketer who was the former national team coach and captain, Heath Streak has died.

He was 49.

According to reports, Streak passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning at his family’s Enthokozweni Farm in Inyathi.

The wife to the former Zimbabwe Cricket legend Nadine Streak confirmed the death on her official facebook account.

“In the early hours of this morning, Sunday the 3rd of September 2023, the greatest love of my life and the father of my beautiful children was carried to be with Angel’s from his home where he wished to spend his last days surrounded by his family and vloset loved ones,” she said.

Streak succumbed to cancer which he has been battling from for the past six months.
