Former Goalkeeper of the Zimbabwe National Football Team, George Chigova has died after collapsing during a training session with his club, Supersport United in South Africa.
Chigova, who also played for Harare Giants, Dynamos Football Club is alleged to have been battling with a heart ailment since July this year.
His death has plunged Football fans into mourning. Affectionately known as “Zikeeper”, Chigova was 32 years old. He previously showcased his skills at Polokwane City, another South African club, before joining SuperSport United.
