The High Court has ruled that Pius Jamba is guilty  for the murder of Citizens Coalition for Change activist Moreblessing Ali, and  his sentencing will be delivered on 20 December this year.

Judge, Justice Esther Muremba handed the ruling after finding overwhelming evidence which pointed out that Jamba Committed the act after having a misunderstanding with the deceased.

It is the court’s case that Jamba killed Ali after having a misunderstanding  over a dog which the latter had brought to a nightclub.

The misunderstanding ended up with Jamba fatally assaulting Ali at Chibanguza shops. Other patrons failed to restrain him as he became aggressive, which saw him drag Ali from the shops to the place where he murdered her using a kitchen knife.

Ali’s remains were found in a disused well where her body was dismembered.
