A 23 year old Mbare man who sold alcohol to minors during the festive season last year was given a 24 month jail sentence yesterday.

Phaeteon Mutiyaya was charged for selling alcohol to minors and operating without a shop license. The case gained public attention after a video of minors who were drinking alcoholic drinks went viral on social media last year.

The outcry prompted the police to react, leading to the arrest of Mutiyaya.
